The course description
a typical day on this gap project

Volunteers on a Human Rights placement will work alongside local staff to educate and inform local communities on their human rights. This may involve working with abused women, refugees, prisoners, and youths. Volunteers may also get involved in activities such as: monitoring election procedures, transitional justice, police reform and organising campaigns.

Our Law placements delve more into legal aspects. You will be based in a typical law firm setting. Areas of focus may include: banking law, mergers, acquisitions, corporate intellectual property, taxation and insolvency. There may be an opportunity to interview clients and shadow supervising lawyers in court.
