Volunteering on a community building project is a fantastic way to directly improve the quality of life for people in poorer areas of the world. We have community based projects below that range from a single week, to six months and you can get involved in the construction of housing or schools and community buildings. If you already have some trade skills, all the better, but don't be put off if you do not.
