The British Schools Exploring Society is a youth development charity, founded in 1932. We run expeditions all over the world to remote wilderness environments, from the Amazon to the Arctic, the Himalayas to the deserts of Africa.
No experience is required for participation, only a sense of adventure and a determination to do something different! Your expedition can count towards your Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award Residential & Expedition sections, even if you have not already signed up to the scheme.
