How does Fronteering differ?

We focus on places less visited where there is still more to lose but also more to achieve through sustainable conservation and eco-tourism efforts.

We help preserve habitats, wildlife and indigenous communities who in times of modernization have suffered most. Our volunteering project will not take you to some dusty part of a city to build a house, instead you will be building up small Amerindian communities in the Amazon rainforest.

All though Fronteering is a for profit organization many of our projects are run non profit including all our projects in Guyana

Because of our love for adventure we also run trips and project in destinations simple because they are so different from the mainstream or simply because they over the top awesome. From Jumping out of helicopters followed by an island survival with total isolation to dog sledding volunteer projects in the Canadian Arctic.

We employ the best people both for your safety and for the best possible experience. Our coodinators backgrounds vary from knowledgeable Amerindian tribesmen to ex UK special forces and ex Brazil Amazon rescue commando's.
