Pod Volunteer is a leading non-profit organisation which provides a wide range of ethical and supported life changing volunteer opportunities overseas. We offer the opportunity to volunteer for 1 week to 6 months in amazing locations around the world. You can volunteer with Pod Volunteer in Belize, Cambodia, Ghana, India, Nepal, Peru, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam and join a range of different types of volunteer placement including animal care and rescue, child care, teaching, conservation, sports, building and community development projects.

We offer placements from 1 week - 6 months so whether you want to include a short term placement into your existing travel plans or volunteer at a long term placement to fully immerse yourself into a country, then we have a volunteer opportunity for you. We also know that a gap year can be expensive, as a non-profit organisation we are able to offer affordable volunteering to everyone.
What can I do?
Animal projects: If you are an animal lover we have animal projects in Belize, Cambodia, South Africa and Thailand. These include the opportunity to work with elephants, horses, monkeys, cheetahs and help wildlife rescue projects.
Child care projects: If you prefer the idea of working with children we offer child care projects in Belize, Cambodia, Ghana, Nepal, Peru, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam where volunteers help at orphanages, children's homes, day care centres and street kids centres.
Teaching projects: If you're a student teacher or think this is something you would enjoy you can teach in Cambodia, Ghana, Nepal, Peru, Thailand and Vietnam. Whether you are looking for a classroom setting or to teach informally in an orphanage setting, then we have a project for you.
Conservation projects: If you're passionate about conservation we have conservation projects in Belize, Peru, South Africa and Thailand. These include the opportunity to learn to dive and assist in marine conservation, or join research teams in the Amazon or on a Big 5 game reserve.
Community development projects: If you want to become fully immersed in a community then why not join one of our community development projects in Ghana or Nepal? Volunteers assist in a number of roles such as film and photography and building.
Sports coaching projects: If you love sport, enjoy playing games and sharing your passion for sport with others then you can join one of our sport coaching projects in Ghana or Nepal.
Pod Volunteer also offers you the opportunity to combine any of our projects so you make the most of your gap year.
