Tim Lilley Fundraising probably the leading Home Fundraising consultancy in the UK are now recruiting fundraisers in the following areas:
Bath & Bristol, Birmingham, Brighton, Cambridge, Cardiff, Cheltenham & Gloucester, Essex, London, Oxford, Reading.
We are looking for articulate and self-motivated individuals to visit members of the public at their homes on behalf of either:
* Action on Disability and Development
* Amnesty International (UK)
* Friends of the Earth
* Plan (UK)
* Shelter
You will be working 22.5 hours per week made up of five evenings from 5.30pm to 9.30pm with a weekly daytime support/training session. Pay commences at £8 per hour with bonuses. You would need to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks as we are looking to employ on a permanent basis.
We will try always to place you with a single charity of your choice, and encourage you to form strong links with that organisation. We provide extensive training and support to ensure that members of the public meet people who are well-informed, sincere, sensitive and friendly. Our relaxed, non-pressurised approach gives people the space and time they need to take a considered decision, and leaves them positive about the experience, even when they do not subscribe.
We believe you can initiate a lasting relationship between donor and charity using the simplest method of communication - one person speaking to another. We have been doing this without fanfare for twenty five years, and we have probably the best record in the business for securing long-term income for our clients.
We are looking for articulate, intelligent and self-motivated applicants with fluent English and good interpersonal skills. Ideally applicants will be educated to degree level. Previous sales or fundraising experience would be advantageous but not essential as we will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.
Fundraisers who show the necessary aptitudes will have opportunities to progress into management. All the senior management team at Tim Lilley Fundraising have carried out successful appeals themselves on behalf of one or more of our clients.
