A Typical Day in the Job
UKSA's Watersports Academy is a bespoke, part-funded course aimed at students who want to train to become a watersports instructor and work in the UK. On graduation you will be a qualified instructor in the following disciplines; dinghy sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding.
Upon successful completion of the scheme, you will be guaranteed employment for two season with UKSA, Cowes, Isle of Wight. If you want to walk straight into employment in the UK on graduation, this course is for you.
Who are we looking for?
You are required to have at least a minimum of one week's recent dinghy and windsurfing experience. Anyone without this level of experience will be required to complete the two-week Kickstart course first.
What we can offer you
UKSA's Watersports Academy course is all-inclusive with no hidden extras. Course fees include all training, food and accommodation, examinations, certification, logbooks and internet access for the full duration of the course.
While on site you can take advantage of our indoor heated swimming pool, bar and study areas.
