We have multiple start and end dates but you must be available from the middle of June to the end of August.
Adventure China is a cultural exchange programme but you’ll still receive a pocket money of around £230-£300 during the summer.
Adventure China will be with you every step of the way. We’re not just getting you placed at one of the first ever summer camps in China, we’re going to help you get fully prepared with language and culture lessons as well as pre-flight socials and training days in the UK.
A Typical Day in the Job
Each summer camp employs a group of international counsellors and it will be your job as a Unit Leader to oversee a team of counselors as well as a certain aspect of camp life.
You’ll spend your day in charge of a group of campers who you’ll support during different activities such as rock climbing or team sports.
In addition to this, you’ll be responsible for specific aspects of camp life such as the planning and scheduling of activities, assisting with any camper incidents and supporting your unit of counselors.
