a typical day on this gap project
Having completed the farm training course, you will move to your new employer. The exact routine and tasks will vary depending on the role and farm at which you are placed. Tasks may include operating tractors, chainsaws, dirt bikes, riding horses, constructing fences, monitoring and working with cattle and sheep. You could also deal with maintenance tasks, working with the team to ensure the farm runs smoothly. Working in the outback, you can learn about Australia and become part of the team. Previous experience is helpful and may allow you to obtain ranch work, jobs with horses, harvest work as well as domestic roles on farms.
