typical day
The course description
a typical day on this gap project

You'll be living in northern India with views of the majestic Himalayas from your front door.

5 days a week you will be interning in a local hospital, shadowing the doctors and nurses in various departments from surgery to orthopaedics. If you are considering a career in medicine, this programme will give you a real insight into this life.

Each day you will be at the hospital between 9.30am and approx 2pm when you will return for lunch. Three meals a day are provided at the purpose built volunteer accommodation.

Weekends are free for you to explore the local area, visit McLeod Ganj (home of the Dalai Lama), or just relax in Palampur and its surroundings.
