Our in-person international internships allow you to work on a project with a social or environmental impact while gaining experience in your field. The work is both challenging and meaningful, and you’ll be supported by a knowledgeable, passionate site team that will provide you with cultural context and international connections. The accommodations we provide are safe and vetted. Most internships are about 4-12 weeks long, depending on your needs and the needs of the project.

Our virtual internships align with our mission to cultivate educated, compassionate global citizens, and so we provide more than the placement itself. Our remote internships are enhanced with cultural components like weekly Cultural Workshops (learn about local life from locals - like details about local cuisine and work styles), weekly buddy chats with students in your host country, and weekly reflection sessions with your Site and Country directors. On a virtual internship, you can start developing your professional and remote-work skills now, and we’ll give you a discount on future travel if you decide to book a trip to your host country with us!

Interested in learning Spanish in Ecuador or French or Arabic in Morocco? Add on weekly language sessions for an additional fee!

Check out our website to find out more about specific gap placements, or talk to a placement advisor. They’ll have all the details!
