Our Gap Year programmes are paid where you will work and live in a school or educational setting, using the holidays to travel as much as you possibly can. Meals and accommodation are included, so you can spend more of your earnings on your next trips.
We're with you every step of the way. Our teams will welcome you when you arrive and you will partake in a 3-day orientation programme to meet your fellow participants. Following this, you'll head to your placement to begin a year you'll never forget.

A paid Gap Year in Australia will be one of the best years of your life!
Imagine this, you arrive at the airport to be met by the Letz Live team. They escort you straight to the zoo where you come up close to kangaroos and koalas! You'll spend the first 3 days on the Gold Coast meeting other Letz Live gappies who have arrived from all over the world.
Following this, you'll transfer to your school placement, which will become your home for the year. Working as a school assistant you may be supporting students before or after lessons, supervising the boarding house or meal times, taking students to off-site appointments, running sports activities and more. No two days are the same but we assure you it's lot of fun.
The best part - you can spend your days off and all of the school holidays travelling! Whether this is around Australia or further afield, such as Fiji or Bali, the options are quite literally endless.
Who are we looking for?
what makes you the ideal candidate
Applicants for our Australian Gap Year program must:
*Be aged between 17 and 25 years old at the time of their arrival into Australia
*Have a valid passport from their home country
*Have no serious pre-existing medical conditions
*Have no prior convictions, with the ability to provide evidence as required
*Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and able to show a recognised certificate
*Have completed secondary schooling prior to arrival in Australia
*Be willing to undergo a medical examination as part of the visa application (if required by Australian Immigration authorities)
