What a typical day looks like is entirely up to you!
You might spend a day exploring the highlights of a city with a knowledgeable local guide and your new travel crew. Perhaps you'll head out on a bike ride to explore the countryside and visit a local family for lunch. Or maybe you'll have a day at leisure to relax on gorgeous sandy beaches.
If you choose to volunteer, a typical day will depend on the type of volunteer project you choose. You could be learning how to dive in the Philippines to help with marine conservation, or perhaps you'll be teaching English to Buddhist monks at a monastery in Nepal. You might prefer to work with rescued elephants in Thailand or turtles in Sri Lanka.
There's also the option to learn a new skill, like surfing, diving or yoga, so a typical day might start with an early morning lesson, followed by a social group lunch and an afternoon free to practice what you've learned.
