What a typical day looks like is entirely up to you!
You might spend a day exploring the highlights of a historic city like Cusco or Buenos Aires with a knowledgeable local guide and your new travel crew. Perhaps you'll head out into the Amazon Rainforest on a wildlife safari. Or maybe you'll dive into the legends of the Incas and discover indigenous cultures.
If you choose to volunteer, a typical day will depend on the type of volunteer project you choose. You could be helping at a community soup kitchen in Buenos Aires or helping street children in Quito. Or perhaps you'll be joining in the fight to protect threatened species in the Amazon Rainforest.
Join a Spanish language course and your days will be spent in individual or group classes learning new vocabulary and grammar with loads of opportunities to practice your new skills.
And if you opt for a trekking expedition, you could reaching dizzying heights on the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu or following the popular W Trek in Patagonia.
