The course description
a typical day on this gap project

Depending on your volunteer choice, you could be interacting with or monitoring land or marine animals. You may be required to survey native plants or collect soil samples for testing. Other mindful conservation work could include building or repairing enclosures, cleaning, tree planting, preparing food, litter picking and beach clean-ups. All projects aid in helping local people and making a genuine difference to the species or area that you have chosen to help.

the requirements for this course

Be prepared to work hard. Some jobs require a certain level of fitness to be able to cope with physical activities in humid temperatures. You must be prepared in some cases to live in basic accommodation. You must be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude and your efforts will be rewarded!
