A Typical Day on this Course
If you have already nailed the basics of skiing and are confident on intermediate slopes, we are confident that our top instructors will be able to get you ready for the CSIA Level 2 examination within our 7 week course.
The course starts in Whistler with some familiarisation time on the mountain before you begin your training towards the Level 1 examination. Throughout the course you can expect 5 days of training with your instructor per week and be part of a small group.
The Level 1 exam takes place in week week three before you take the three day AST Level 1 Backcountry ski course in week 4.
Weeks 5 and 6 take it all up a gear as you develop your skills even further to be ready for the CSIA Level 2 exam in week 7.
Who are we looking for?
To be eligible for this course you need to be comfortable skiing reds in Europe or blues in North America. This course is ideal for anyone who skis at a low-intermediate level or above.
