Fronteering focusses on unique programs in destinations that are less visited and unspoiled. Our programs take place in the worlds last frontiers where there is more to accomplish! We do not focus on the mass destinations like Costa Rica and Thailand and instead work with smaller communities where the need is greater in countries like Guyana.

Course Description

a typical day on this gap project

Volunteers will be designated to tasks and these tasks are as follows:

- Feeding and grooming of the animals

- Taking the horses for their daily exercises

- Cleaning the barn and stables

- Gardening

- Minor farm maintenance like checking and repairing fences, etc.

- Light household chores

- Farming

the requirements for this course

- Applicants are required to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks.
- Interemediate Horse Riding Skills Mandatory!
- Age: 18-30
- No animal allergies
- Good communication skills and the ability to work alone
- Good knowledge of the English
