The job description
a typical day on this gap project
You will be collected from the airport and taken to your start location in either Hua Hin or Chiang Mai. For the first week, you will be involved in a week long action-packed orientation week that will introduce you to Thai customs, the culture and language as well as taking part in a Muay Thai boxing class!
Next, you'll begin the 120 hour, accredited TESOL course. The placement team will then place you in a teaching job in Thailand, which will pay at least 30,000 Thai Baht ($800) a month. After your contract is over, you can continue teaching as you receive lifetime placements from the team, who can find another job for you, teaching in Thailand, Vietnam, Mynamar or South Korea so you can continue your adventure.
If you already have a TESOL/TEFL, you can take part in the orientation week and then head straight to your job.
Fancy just doing the course and not working after? You can join the 4 week course to gain the TESOL qualification.
Would you be a good fit?
