We offer a wide range of opportunities in volunteering, teaching, paid work, paid ski seasons and family expeditions. For many, an Oyster Worldwide project may be a first trip away from home or it may be something that you have always wanted to do and have never been able to find a way how to. We offer continued support and advice before departure to make sure that you are fully prepared for your trip ahead. That support continues whilst you are overseas from our local representatives, project partners and the Oyster HQ in the UK. As well as helping communities in a positive way, our participants develop new levels of confidence, maturity and independence. Expect to develop skills and memories that will last a lifetime and make lots of new friends and contacts along the way.
Gap Year Benefits include
Comfortable accommodation is provided in Whistler staff housing and privately rented apartments in Kaprun, Austria. Expect to share a room and enjoy excellent communal living areas. WiFi is provided and you will have access to a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. You will be living in a world class resort in either Canada or Austria and will be able to enjoy the mountain during work and on your days off. Whether you are in beautiful Kaprun or breathtaking Whistler, you will be able to make the most of the local tourist activities which are plentiful. Your money is safe with Oyster, we have financial protection through IPP and our ATOL. Both destinations have hosted Oyster participants for many years and have been regularly visited by our UK staff.
