We are a friendly outdoor centre who operate for the sole purpose of giving young people an outdoor adventurous experience. We are a charity and therefore our goal is not money but to give young people experiences that last forever. We offer accommodation free of charge and give all our staff access to a shared catering facility. We provide free uniform and for the right staff also offer courses to develop our staff.

a typical day on this gap project
Blackwell Adventure is an Outdoor Activity Provider based in Worcestershire over two sites Blackwell Court and Pikes Pool.
Our Manor House, Campsite and Podded Villages and Bell Tent Village are set in 100 acres of country estate and boasts a host of land and water based activities.
For the 2026 season we are aiming to employ a range of talented new staff that will assist in the development of the Centre and deliver it's activities and programmes to a wide range of customers, including Scouts, Guides, Youth Groups, Schools, Colleges and Corporate groups.
Instructors make the difference in a centre by building relationships with the children and creating an environment for them to learn and gain from their experiences. Using a variety of land and water based activities the instructors will deliver quality outdoor instruction.
Some of the activities you will be delivering dependant on your experience are climbing, abseiling, high ropes, zip wire, archery, laser tag, team building and water sports.

what makes you the ideal candidate
You will be required to work a 5 day week, including most weekends and sometimes evenings, accommodation is provided on site if needed and you will have access to a shared catering facility.
Qualifications such as Paddlesport Instructor Award or Archery GB are helpful but not essential. Experience is needed.
