Course Description

Our 5-week course has been specifically designed to give you the skills, confidence, and qualifications you need to work as a Dinghy Instructor. This is a great way to add a new skill to your CV and gives you the opportunity to earn money as an RYA instructor, both in the UK and across the globe - the ideal gap year.
You will live and eat on-site and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with the campus lifestyle.

It is desirable to have at least a minimum of one week's recent dinghy experience.
There are no other pre-requisites necessary to start the course but it may be beneficial to attend an open day at UKSA. learn more about the courses on offer, meet UKSA's team, see the campus facilities, and get a feel for what life would be like as a future UKSA student. Contact UKSA to book.

UKSA's Summer 2025 Dinghy Instructor Training course is all-inclusive with no hidden extras. Course fees include all training, food and accommodation, examinations, certification, logbooks and internet access for the full duration of the course.
