typical day A Typical Day on this Course

A typical day on our Belize expedition will likely involve SCUBA diving on the vibrant reefs within the Bacalar Chico Marine Reserve, studying fish and coral species identification with guidance from Blue Ventures field scientists, taking a kayak out for a paddle, snorkelling on the reefs nearby to the island, or simply enjoying some down-time in your hammock.

The minimum age volunteers can join is 17 - there are no pre-requisites in terms of qualifications or experience.

Accommodation (homestay in Sarteneja and beachfront cabins at dive camp), three meals a day plus tea and coffee, dive training to PADI Advanced Open Water level, daily diving, marine science training plus use of BCD, regulators, cylinders and weights.
