Fronteering focusses on unique programs in destinations that are less visited and unspoiled. Our programs take place in the worlds last frontiers where there is more to accomplish! We do not focus on the mass destinations like Costa Rica and Thailand and instead work with smaller communities where the need is greater in countries like Guyana.

Course Description

a typical day on this gap project

Volunteers will be involved with the conservation of the native species of animals and plants that are found in the protected area. You will be surrounded by many species of animals that are all totally. Just keep in mind that that it is unlikely that you will hold or work direclty withany animals but you will be up close and surrounded by hundreds if not thousands of animals

the requirements for this course

- Required to commit to a minimum of 2 weeks
- Age: 18+
- No animal allergies
- A love for animals and some general experience of caring for an animal is a must!
- Extreme Weather (heat & cold), dirt and living in a remote area must be something you can handle.
- Must read and agree to abide by guidelines and ethics
- Good knowledge of the English
