typical day What's it like

A typical day on this gap year project

Each day will vary, depending on the medical requirements of those in care. In the hospital, volunteers will work with children with disabilities, engaging with them through puzzles and games. Those with medical training may be able to assist nurses and doctors, helping out in different wards. With the mobile unit, volunteers with basic training will be able to help with treatments, while those studying medicine can expect to administer medicines and give direct care. More qualifications enable more involvement in the medical care, but are not a requirement. You can choose to focus on either working in the children's ward or attending home visits, or combine the two.
